Monday was the last salon of the festival, and it was held in the former swimming pool of Les Bains::Connectives. We started with a small crowd, more people came around 22h until the floor was filled. DJ Ben kept everyone dancing and while we had been afraid that it would be cold, it was quite the opposite. A nice closing night to a memorable festival.

“Surprise and Impro” was the name of the Sunday milonga of the festival. The biggest surprise, and unfortunately a very unpleasant one, is that we were not allowed to take any videos or pictures during the improvisations. One of the most exciting parts of the festival has been lost for eternity. Personally, I think this is a pity. Last year’s videos of the impros were very popular on Youtube and showed clearly why the festival is worth visiting.
Earlier in the evening there was a performance by Jorge Dispari & La Turca, a well-known couple of Argentinian tangueros.

How much fun can you have with an empty champaign bottle and a full glass? Quite some, it appears, as was proven on Saturday as the dance floor was cleared for a drinking/dancing game when DJ El Pajaro launched into a sequence of folk songs. You spin the bottle and whoever it points at when it stops has to … Well, just have a look.
