Announcing: Marathon del Chocolate in August

Marathon Del Chocolate

Brussels had its first ever tango marathon last year, and now we can announce there will be not one, but two marathons in 2011! Sidar and his team have announced the “Marathon del Chocolate” on 12-14 August 2011. Three days of dancing, with food and drinks, international DJs, Belgian chocolates and waffles, Argentinian empanadas and an After party on Sunday 14 Aug. It’s all happening in De Maalbeek, Etterbeek, where visitors from far away can also get a cheap place to stay. The photographer-in-residence will be Tango Paparazzo, a.k.a. ‘me’!

Price is 70€ and registrations are open now on marathondelchocolate.com for Belgians and people from abroad alike!

If you would like to volunteer and get in for free, contact sidarok@gmail.com

Thursday brought us a concert by the Argentinian/Italian group Tango Tinto, in the magnificent La Tentation. Tango music to dance to, and that’s what everybody did with pleasure. Thank to Monik & Dante for the organisation!
