“Andrés and Cecilia met many years ago in the Buenos Aires milongas, and developed a strong friendship along the years, which is palpable through their dance and their energy together. They share the same pedagogy of teaching, strongly based on structure, fluidity, musicality, and of course enjoying dancing!”

I met Cecilia first in 2011, at the Beirut Tango Festival, where she was performing with Mazen Kiwan. She was beautiful, gracious and a very inspiring dancer. She also turned out to be a lovely person. We have met since then in Beirut, Buenos Aires and Porec. I was very happy to see her perform this summer in Croatia with Andres, because there is really a special connection between them. This is when I decided that I wanted to invite them to Brussels.
I met Andrés on my very first trip to Buenos Aires, January 2012. He is one of the founders of the famous ‘after-milonga’ place El Yeite Tango Club, where the party starts when all the other places are closing down. He’s one of the resident DJs, and you will be able to hear in Brussels just how good he is. Some days later I also photographed his performance at Milonga10 with Natalia Cristobal, and I liked his traditional, strong and energetic style.
They came across the ocean together for the first time last year (Lebanon, Turkey, Italy), and Brussels will be the start of their third European tour.
