Directed by Pablo Rho, based on Guillermo Stamponi’s original idea and screenplay. This documentary focuses on the work of the famous bandoneon player Astor Piazzolla (1921-1992), with contributions from Daniel Piazzolla, Laura Escalada, Horacio Ferrer, Daniel Binelli, Guillermo Bermúdez and Víctor Oliveros. The film explores the life of the Argentinian musician and composer, drawing extensively on Astor Piazzolla’s own archives and with the participation of Lito Cruz. Also featured are sequences choreographed by Fernanda Ganz set to music by Daniel Binelli on the bandoneon, Olga Pinchuk on the violin and Guillermo Stamponi on the piano.
