Color Tango was founded in 1989 by Roberto Alvarez. He was a bandeonist and an arranger in the orquestra of Osvaldo Pugliese.
The style of the band is strongly influenced by Pugliese : a beautiful and powerful sound, very authentic and one of the few new orquestras played in the milongas.
