The landscape of tango in Ghent landed a brand new event, and that’s it, Milonga El Abrazo is born !
Aníbal Lautaro and Valeria Maside, dancers and tango teachers from Buenos Aires have long been known in Europe and in Belgium in particular. They have come to live here and dedicate themselves day after day to spread this special dance. Now they have also started their first milonga in the heart of Ghent. It is very special that “Ons Huis” is the home of these tango nights. The framework of the emblematic building of the Vrijdagmarkt adapts perfectly to that “social event.”
The first edition was a great success. Now there will be a monthly follow-up. Every fourth Saturday of the month, fans can take their best steps to the beat of beautiful Argentine music with a drink or a typical “empanada”. Also for those who want to take their first steps, you can do it during the free initiation classes.
- Free Initiation Class: 6 p.m. – 7 p.m.
- Workshop Anibal and Valeria: 7 p.m. – 8.15 p.m.
- Milonga: 8:30 p.m. – 2 p.m.
