One of the most impressive tango venues in Brussels must be the Concert Noble, the 1873 building that breathes grandour and old money. And this is where’s the Brussels Tango Festival settled down for two nights for dancing and marveling at the skills of the visiting maestros. Here are some pictures, check out the whole festival album on Flickr.

The Brussels Tango Festival 2010 has now officially started! Yesterday the charming venue named the “Maison des Cultures et de la Cohésion Sociale de Molenbeek-Saint-Jean” welcomes the festival guests for the first evening of dancing and mingling.
As always, it was a mix of familiar and new faces, people getting acquainted with new partners, chatting in a multitude of languages, trying to remember names and nationalities.
This is also the evening where we see the maestros of the festival dancing together. Here they are:
Michelle & Murat Erdemsel
Noelia Hurtado & Pablo Rodriguez
Moira Castellano & Gaston Torelli
Mariela Sametband & Pablo Inza
Cecilia Berra & Horacio Godoy
Marisa Van Andel & Oliver Koch
All festival pictures are in the Brussels Tango Festival 2010 album.

It’s that time of the year again! In one week, the Bussels Tango Festival starts its 5-day tango extravaganaza of workshops and salon with a supreme selection of maestros. I will be taking pictures again, I have incited some friend photographers from abroad, and for the first time, we will shoot a movie! On Friday April 2nd, expect to see me concentrated with a bunch of friends recording beautiful moving people for a change.
So: shine your nicest shoes, iron that sexy dress, go to the hairdresser and see you next week, looking absolutely smashing!
