Tango in Belgie / Tango en Belgique
The fourth edition of the Kiosque milonga was a delight. Apart from some sporadic drizzle, it was a perfect outdoor dancing occasion. DJ Mala not only took care of beautiful music, she also made a delicious Баница for the dancers.
We saw some new faces, visitors from the Marathon del Chocolate, and others who just happened to pass by, and it was good to see
everyone having fun.

Afternoon sun, cool drinks and lots of wonderful music: a nice crowd joined this Saturday to enjoy the 4th open-air Milonga @ Kiosque of this year. Since so many people managed to look so beautiful, I have published more than 60 pictures of the event. Check out the full album!
Due to circumstances, the 3rd milonga at the Kiosque started without a power extension cord, without a photographer and without drinks, but since it’s about the dancing anyway, that really didn’t matter too much. We managed without the cord or the drinks, and the photographer (i.e. me) arrived just in time to catch the last glimpses of sun.
We were a bit afraid for the weather at the second Milonga @ Kiosque, since there were a bunch of gloomy looking clouds passing over Brussels, but it turned out to be a fine afternoon at all. DJ Philippe gave us excellent tandas with some Kool & The Gang cortinas in between, which gave a lot of energy to the crowd. A ray of sunshine every now and then was the icing on the cake.

We were praying to the weather gods for the first edition of the Milonga @ Kiosque and apparently we were listened to. We got a splendid sunny day, lots of dancers and a nice concert on top.

Hernan Genovese was in Brussels for some concerts and came to sing in the Kiosque. The guy has an incredible voice, as the audience noticed, and he clearly enjoyed himself performing.
