Sensitization to Vals
Tango music is essential for the dancer and impossible to separate from the dance itself. It is the rhythm of the music that inspires the dancer’s choice of movements to interact with his partner, which determines the harmony of the couple.
In the milongas, as most of you know, there is, every 3(4) tanda’s Tango, always a tanda with Vals.
This certainly requires a different rhythm, structure or accents and sometimes even a slightly different dance position.
You can’t dance Vals like Tango. The valses themselves in the tango are very different depending on the orchestras, slow to very fast, compact valses, with always that same romantic, sensual and light spinning feeling. 
Excellent to soften the gray November days!
           We would like to experience this awareness of music and movement with you in the next series of lessons.

On November 30 and 1 December, we are honoured to welcome an amazing couple for a unique event of Tango with workshops, milonga and a show. 
Sebastian Jimenez is the youngest dancer to win two World Championships in Buenos Aires, also known as the king of the giros!
Agostina Tarchini immersed herself in Tango and Folklore at the Buenos Aires University of the Arts and became World Champion Stage in 2017.
Both traveled all over the world with their partners, but they will form one couple together in Brussels.
Learn with the very best in tango with their workshops in salon style, giros & enrosques … and discover the secrets of champions!

The practica is the temple where we can analyze, try movements, change roles... without codes as we have in the milonga. The followers can also invite the leaders. A social and sharing place, always in a relaxed study atmosphere.

The first 15 minutes are free for free practice and warm up. This time will also allow us to welcome you and take care of the entries.

At this time the doors will be closed only to the participants of the practice.

Guided practice. This practice will be divided in two:  First 15 minutes of walking technique. We want to encourage you to dedicate yourself to walking the base of the tango. If you practice regularly and conscientiously, you will see a huge difference in the quality of your dance.

Second part: 20mn of creative development. A challenge will be proposed every Friday to stimulate creativity and get out of the box.

In the last 10 minutes we will be with you to answer questions, and help you in your exploration of movements.

Theme: Structure & Improvisation (part 2)

For all levels

During this workshop we will explore some of the many possibilities and steps combinations we can create while dancing Tango. Be ready to get creative and rethink the structure of your dance. These workshops are intended for all tango dancers willing to expand their steps vocabulary and improvisation skills while social dancing, you don’t need to be advanced to join the workshops but we recommend at least 8 months/ 1 year of experience.

Sensitization to Vals
Tango music is essential for the dancer and impossible to separate from the dance itself. It is the rhythm of the music that inspires the dancer’s choice of movements to interact with his partner, which determines the harmony of the couple.
In the milongas, as most of you know, there is, every 3(4) tanda’s Tango, always a tanda with Vals.
This certainly requires a different rhythm, structure or accents and sometimes even a slightly different dance position.
You can’t dance Vals like Tango. The valses themselves in the tango are very different depending on the orchestras, slow to very fast, compact valses, with always that same romantic, sensual and light spinning feeling. 
Excellent to soften the gray November days!
           We would like to experience this awareness of music and movement with you in the next series of lessons.

The Chacarera is a folk dance from the north of Argentina.

Unlike tango, Chacarera can be danced by most people in Argentina, especially in the countryside. People dance it a lot during fiestas and also as an invigorating, and joyful break at many milongas in Buenos Aires and around the world.

It is fun to dance and very easy to learn….(but you must have learned it at some point to dance it at a milonga ‘cortina’)!

The basics are relatively simple and in the workshop you will learn enough to be able to dance the Chacarera. It only takes one workshop to master chacarera!

We will not only work with the basic steps, but also with the seducing feeling and emotions that come with the dance. Together we listen to the rhythms of the Chacarera and form the dance piece by piece.

Pleasure is an important element in the Chacarera!

The teacher: Mariano Bolfarino boasts an extensive career, both in Argentina and abroad, as an Argentine dance teacher and choreographer in several dance companies. He also took part in various TV and film projects, including « Tango » by Carlos Saura. Since 2001 he has been based in Brussels, where he teaches the tango and traditional Argentine dances to the general public.

I know him since that time, where he hold his Monday milonga at ‘Los Romanticos’ (Brussels). He was one of my first admirable, dear teachers!

Mariano is also the driving force behind the Tango Queer movement in Brussels!

Sensitization to Vals
Tango music is essential for the dancer and impossible to separate from the dance itself. It is the rhythm of the music that inspires the dancer’s choice of movements to interact with his partner, which determines the harmony of the couple.
In the milongas, as most of you know, there is, every 3(4) tanda’s Tango, always a tanda with Vals.
This certainly requires a different rhythm, structure or accents and sometimes even a slightly different dance position.
You can’t dance Vals like Tango. The valses themselves in the tango are very different depending on the orchestras, slow to very fast, compact valses, with always that same romantic, sensual and light spinning feeling. 
Excellent to soften the gray November days!
           We would like to experience this awareness of music and movement with you in the next series of lessons.

LA PRACTICA is already a tradition at "Tango Factory", it comes with everything to "balance" your tango. New topics will be on our practice. Our team is looking forward to seeing you again, come see us!
☼ GUIDED PRACTICA ☼

The practica is the temple where we can analyze, try movements, change roles... without codes as we have in the milonga. The followers can also invite the leaders. A social and sharing place, always in a relaxed study atmosphere.

The first 15 minutes are free for free practice and warm up. This time will also allow us to welcome you and take care of the entries.

At this time the doors will be closed only to the participants of the practice.

Guided practice. This practice will be divided in two:  First 15 minutes of walking technique. We want to encourage you to dedicate yourself to walking the base of the tango. If you practice regularly and conscientiously, you will see a huge difference in the quality of your dance.

Second part: 20mn of creative development. A challenge will be proposed every Friday to stimulate creativity and get out of the box.

In the last 10 minutes we will be with you to answer questions, and help you in your exploration of movements.
