We are a couple of Argentine dancers and teachers, we represent the traditional style of Buenos Aires with great personality and a touch of youth.
We belong to the last generation formed by real milongueros and grandmasters. The teaching in classes and personal style has led us to travel the world with different shows or as teachers at prestigious festivals (Russia, China, Ukraine, Italy, Spain, Belgium, France, Netherlands, UK, Brazil).

Recuerdo means ‘remembrance’, and refers to a tango composed by Osvaldo Pugliese.
Recuerdo can rely on a very long history of teaching and dancing tango since 1990.
Lieve and Gerdy were lucky to attend courses by some of the old maestros that by now passed away, but whose dance oeuvre they still cherish.
Recuerdo honours the tradition of the authentic tango de salon. It’s this sober and emotionally profound dance that they pass on in their classes. Other rhythms that you hear in a tango salon such as milonga and tango waltz are being taught in the school as well.
