Join us for a week of tango, connection, and inspiration with Alberto Sendra & Fernanda Japas — a couple who have been dancing and teaching together since 1999. With a deeply rooted tango salón style, enriched by modern influences while staying faithful to the golden age of tango, they bring decades of artistry, pedagogy and passion to their teaching.

 

They have performed at the most iconic venues in Buenos Aires, such as Salon Canning, Club Gricel, La Ideal, El Beso and many more, and have shared the stage with prestigious orchestras including Color Tango, Roberto Siri Sexteto and the Philharmonic of Buenos Aires.

 

Fernanda & Alberto have built an international reputation through performances and workshops across Europe, Asia, North & South America, and are the founders of their own tango academy in Buenos Aires: ALFER Espacio de Arte.

What to expect during this tango week:
🕺 10 workshops of 1.5 hours (15 hours total), with focused, structured classes tailored to the group.
📚 Small group – max. 8 couples – for lots of personal feedback and individual guidance.
🧘 Optional yoga classes, massages, and free use of the dance hall in the afternoons.
🎶 After dinner: práctica to dance, integrate, and enjoy.
🍷 On Wednesday evening, we take a break from classes – time to explore the region and have dinner in a local French restaurant.

 

This tango retreat is open to all levels — from passionate beginners to advanced dancers looking to go deeper into their tango technique, expression and musicality.
