In technique classes, we work individually without relying on partners, a barre, or anything else, to gradually develop all these complex skills.

Virginia Vasconi is an acclaimed Argentine tango dancer, teacher, and choreographer, former member of DNI Tango Company, with international experience alongside Julio Balmaceda, known for her musicality and biomechanical approach to movement. Lorena Garcia is a dancer, teacher, DJ, and organizer with over 20 years of experience, focused on improvisation, musicality, and an inclusive approach to social tango.

Ce jeudi, on reçoit Claire Deville comme prof invitée ! Depuis 2010 Claire a formé son tango entre Bruxelles et Buenos Aires, auprès de maestros et de grands milongueros de l’ancienne génération. Avec une carrière de danseuse, une connaissance de l’histoire et de la culture milonguera et un parcours hors du commun, c’est une des meilleures références de Tango en Belgique.

20h45-22h: tango tous niveaux
2h30 de tango, deux cours pour construire et approfondir ton tango, travailler les éléments techniques (marche, pivots, posture, pisada, enrosque, boleos...) enrichir ton écoute de la musique et ton expression, explorer l'abrazo et la communication, développer ton vocabulaire et ta structure ... et passer un bon moment !

Un cabaret burlesque envoûtant, précédé par des initiations au tango-passion et à la chair dance et suivi d'une soirée tango avec spectacles et un photo booth coquin et vintage pour capturer vos plus beaux moments…

On vous attend dans la superbe salle Het Huys le samedi 6 juin de 20h30 à 00h30 pour danser sur les superbes tandas de Mariano Galeano.

LA TANGUERIA: TANGO ARGENTINO DISCOVERY WORKSHOPS 
Dancing tango is one of the best ways to stay in great shape - body and mind. You will meet wonderful people to go out with, sharing the same passion. And most important: dancing activates the “happiness hormones” serotonin & oxytocin. 
Our Tango Discovery Workshops are the perfect way to explore tango in a nutshell before joining a full initiation series.
 Perfect if you are:
 An absolute beginner with no dance experience
 Curious about La Tangueria’s pedagogy (coming from another tango school)
 A dancer of another discipline (salsa, bachata, hiphop…)
 A tango dancer wanting to try the other role
 A “re-starter” to refresh the fundamentals
 Interested in joining a beginner group that started a few weeks ago
NB. For those who first want to do a trial, it is possible to participate only in the first part 13h30-14h45 (18€ pp). Then you can still decide to stay for the 2nd part also.
Participants in the Discovery workshop can then join one of the beginners groups in La Tangueria.
No prior tango knowledge is required. But also if you already know some basics, you’ll discover in La Tangueria another approach and enrich your tango vocabulary.
Come as you are: no special clothes or shoes are required.

Danser le tango est l’une des meilleures façons de rester en forme – corps et esprit. Vous rencontrerez aux cours des personnes formidables avec qui sortir et partager la même passion. Et surtout : la danse active les “hormones du bonheur” sérotonine & ocytocine. 
Nos Ateliers Découverte de Tango sont le moyen idéal pour explorer le tango en un clin d’œil, avant de rejoindre une série d’initiation complète.
 Parfait si vous êtes :
 Un grand débutant sans aucune expérience de danse
 Curieux de découvrir la pédagogie de La Tangueria (en venant d’une autre école de tango)
 Un danseur d’une autre discipline (salsa, bachata, hiphop…)
 Un danseur de tango souhaitant essayer l’autre rôle
 Un “re-starter” voulant rafraîchir les fondamentaux
 Intéressé à rejoindre un groupe de débutants ayant commencé il y a quelques semaines.
NB Pour celles et ceux qui souhaitent d’abord essayer, il est possible de participer uniquement à la première partie de 13h30 à 14h45 (18€ par personne). Vous pourrez ensuite décider de rester également pour la deuxième partie.

Onze Tango Discovery Workshops zijn de ideale manier om tango in een notendop te ontdekken, vóór je instapt in een volledige initiatiereeks.

 Een absolute beginner bent zonder enige danservaring
 Benieuwd bent naar de pedagogie van La Tangueria (en van een andere tangoschool komt)
 Een danser bent van een andere discipline (salsa, bachata, hiphop…)

 Een “re-starter” bent die de basis wil opfrissen

Tango initiations
La Tangueria regularly offers initiation classes to see if tango is for you. A trial class is also an opportunity for singles to get to know a partner before signing up for a series of initiation classes together. Of course, 2 ladies or 2 gentlemen can also take part together. A trial class can also be used as a catch-up class for those who have missed the start of a series.

Upcoming initiations/trial classes:
 7/6 ,13:30 - 14:45 (1st part Discovery workshop, 18€ pp)
 9/6 , 20:30 - 21:50 (1st class, 15€ pp)
 14/6 , 19:00 - 19:45 (free trial)

Reservation: As there is a minimum and a maximum number of places, reservation is required via tangueria@gmail.com, Whatsapp (+32479228698) or the  registration form.
Dress code: Come as you like; jeans, suit, sneakers, sandals... no special clothes or shoes are required for an initiation.
Partner: Preferably come as a couple. You can also participate with someone of the same gender. If you don't have a partner, you can come on your own, but there's no guarantee you'll find someone to participate on site (you can then attend as an observer). We can also put you in touch with another single person beforehand, so that you can make an appointment to participate together. Just send us your profile (height, age, languages) or fill out a partner form and we will try to find a suitable partner.

18:00–19:10 — Beginners & Fundamentals
For newcomers to tango and for dancers who wish to review and strengthen the basics.

19:20–20:30 — Intermediate & Advanced
For dancers looking to refine technique, musicality, embellishments, and explore new sequences for social dancing.

Please arrive 10 minutes early for registration.

Come to discover, explore and deepen the tango. You will progressively learn the movements, the secrets of communication and the musicality that make the traditional Argentine tango. A moment of community where the bodies express themselves and relate to the floor, the music, each other’s body and the other couples. We are Argentinean dancers and teachers. You don’t need to come as a couple. We will be waiting for you.

To dance with pleasure and fully interact with your partner, you need perfect balance, self-confidence, understanding of how to make each step or turn, and a touch of musicality.

In technique classes, we work individually without relying on partners, a barre, or anything else, to gradually develop all these complex skills.

Want to achieve fast results? Dance independently for an hour a day. In our classes, you can get a set of exercises for each new week. Vamos a bailar!

We dance to classic tango music, with playlists adapted to the mood.
