There are 3 stages of leading in Tango. The figure, the woman or yourself. As a leader we need more or less all three of them, but there is a significant difference in the priority of integration.
In these classes we focus on the core principle of being a man, gaining presence of yourself and taking your role out of yourself, not to please some kind of idea you have of leading or something what has been taught (but might not feel very you), the mechanisms of movement, masculine energy as core elements of rigorous and clear leadership.

Programme:

Le cours se déroulera de cette manière:
- 45 minutes de barre au sol pour travailler essentiellement l'élasticité, les muscles, les pieds et la dissociation.
- 45 minutes de travail debout pour travailler surtout l'équilibre et l'axe, la posture, les pieds en contact avec le sol et comment utiliser les abdominaux et le ventre pour une meilleure connexion.

Le travail au sol sera plus basé sur la technique pure, tandis que le travail debout reposera également sur la sensation.

Special Tango Coaching sessions by Marisa & Oliver

=> The Tango coaching session is a new concept half-way between a private class and a group workshop.
We will work with a maximum of 6 couples to be able to give more personal feed-back and
corrections to each of them. Although we can propose a movement for each level, the aim is more to "coach" the participants in their personal tango dance. Like in a private class, we will work on the posture, connection, leading, following, musicality, technique, refinement, etc. rather than teaching a new figure. Participants can of course also propose a theme or subject they would like to work.

Level: all levels interested in this coaching session, minimum 6 months tango required.

Séances spéciales de coaching de tango par Marisa et Oliver

=> Le Tango coaching est un nouveau concept à mi-chemin entre un cours privé et un atelier de groupe.
Nous travaillons avec un maximum de 6 couples pour pouvoir donner plus de feedback personnel et corrections à chacun d'eux. Bien que nous proposons un mouvement comme point de départ pour tout le groupe, l'objectif est plus de "coacher" les participants dans leur danse de tango personnel. Comme dans un cours privé, nous travaillerons sur la posture, la connexion, le guidage, l'écoute, la musicalité, la technique, le raffinement, etc. plutôt que d'enseigner une nouvelle figure. Les participants peuvent bien sûr proposer un thème ou un sujet qu'ils aimeraient travailler.

Niveau: tous les niveaux intéressés par cette session de coaching, minimum 6 mois de tango requis.

Le travail au sol sera plus basé sur la technique pure, tandis que le travail debout reposera également sur la sensation.

In 2000, the legendary musicians of Quinteto Real were named 'the twentieth century’s best quintet'. Wynton Marsalis is a fan. And so are we, and that's why we are already slipping our tango shoes on in anticipation.

For over fifty years, the Argentinean Quinteto Real orchestra has been taking tango music to the highest level. BOZAR has invited this fantastic example of living music history to Brussels.

Horacio Salgán is a mythical figure in the world of tango music. He was born in the city that made tango famous, Buenos Aires, and founded the Quinteto Real with that other legendary musician, Ubaldo de Lío. Since then many legendary musicians have been members of the group, performing both original compositions and standards. Nowadays Cesar Salgán supplements his father’s fantastic repertoire with his own compositions, creating an unrivaled rhythmic and harmonic language. There are 3 stages of leading in Tango. The figure, the woman or yourself. As a leader we need more or less all three of them, but there is a significant difference in the priority of integration.
In these classes we focus on the core principle of being a man, gaining presence of yourself and taking your role out of yourself, not to please some kind of idea you have of leading or something what has been taught (but might not feel very you), the mechanisms of movement, masculine energy as core elements of rigorous and clear leadership.

All you need, is tango shoes & maybe a dance partner to Tango al mediodia!
This is a real social practica, no guidance, no DJ, but good Tango music in different styles will make you dance and practice.

Avant la pause estivale, La Tangueria invite tous ses élèves à sa soirée spéciale pour les éleves !!

18h00 > 20h00: Dîner (Auberge espagnole)
20h00 > 00h30: Milonga avec des animations et de la musique pour danser

Tarif: gratuit pour les étudiants de La Tangueria, La Tangueria XL et La Luna le mercredi, et pour les participants aux vacances de tango au Lac Majeur.

La formule pour le dîner est une "Auberge espagnole" donc tout le monde apporte quelque chose à manger pour environ 4/5 personnes (salade, dessert, plateau de fromages ... mais rien à cuire ou à chauffer (ce qui est trop compliqué pour notre cuisine limitée).

N'apportez pas de boissons car le bar fonctionnera à des prix réguliers pour le vin, la bière, les boissons gazeuses, etc. L'eau plate et pétillante sera gratuite (offerte par la Tangueria) pendant le repas.

Après le repas, nous retirerons les tables et les chaises et commencerons un MILONGA festif vers 20h00, jusqu'à 00h30.

Pour avoir une idée du nombre de personnes qui se joindront (et du nombre de tables, chaises, fourchettes, etc. à préparer), nous vous demandons de vous inscrire par mail via info@tangueria.be.

Les portes ouvriront à 18h00. Ceux qui ont un moment de libre pour aider à préparer la fête dans l'après-midi, s'il vous plaît informez-nous 😊.

Before the summer stop, La Tangueria invites all its tango students to its special Student party!!

18h00 > 20h00: Dinner (Auberge espagnole)
20h00 > 00h30: Milonga with special acts and music to dance.

Fee: free for students of La Tangueria, La Tangueria XL & La Luna on Wednesday, and for participants in Lago Maggiore tango holidays.

The formula for dinner is an "Auberge espagnole" so everybody brings something to eat for about 4/5 people (salad, dessert, cheese plate... but nothing that needs to be cooked or heated (which is too complicated for our limited kitchen infrastructure).

Don't bring any drinks as the bar will be functioning at regular prices for wine, bear, soft drinks etc. Still and sparkling water will be complimentary (offered by la Tangueria) during the meal.

After the meal we will remove the tables and chairs and start a festive MILONGA at around 20h00, until 00h30.

To have an idea about how many people will join (and how many tables, chairs, forks, etc to prepare), we kindly ask you to register via info@tangueria.be.

Doors will open at 18h00. Those who have a spare moment to help prepare the party in the afternoon, please step forward 😊.

NB. There is no entrance fee for all those who are currently enrolled in a weekly class at La Tangueria, La Tangueria XL and La Luna on Wednesdays, and for participants in the 2019 Baveno tango vacations. Non-students can access the party for € 7.50.

En 1913, dans le parc de Bruxelles, a été aménagé un lieu de divertissement en plein air entouré d’une galerie couverte avec rotonde, construite en structure de treillages dans un style Louis XVI. Cette architecture tressée est unique en Belgique. Longtemps abandonné, ce manoir appelé « Vaux-Hall », aussi exceptionnel que méconnu, a fait l’objet de quatre années de restauration minutieuse menée par la Ville de Bruxelles.
