Une semaine unique où vous pourrez vous immerger dans l'univers du tango argentin, découvrir la magie et les secrets de cette danse élégante. ce stage est dédié aux personnes désireuses d'apprendre le tango de manière approfondie et rapide, equivalent à un trimestre de cours.
Le Tango est un château de velours et de satin, un palace où les talons-aiguilles tricotent des cottes de mailles pour les cavaliers fervents en costume du dimanche, et où les reines du bal y trouvent leur club social, et l'abrazo, une forteresse impénétrable au sein de laquelle leurs émotions demeurent privées.
Élégance masculine - Grâce féminine, c'est pour cela qu'on se fait du Tango, une bien étrange thérapie addictive et addiction thérapeutique!

A l'issue de ce stage, vous aurez totalisé l'expérience en temps et technique, d'un trimestre de cours régulier ainsi que la possibilité d'intégrer notre classe level 2 si vous le désirez.

Non, nous organisons les inscriptions en fonction de la parité homme femme et nous favorisons le mélange des couples de danse. Bien évidemment les couples sont bienvenus et libre de ne danser qu’entre-eux.

Summer’s here ! For the 5th year, we invite you to the Parc du Cinquantenaire for our « Milonga in the Park ». The first will take place on Thursday the 7th of June. You’ll find us there every Thursday until the end of August.
What started as a simple picnic ; finally became an incredible event ! A big thank you for your support.
As always, bring your smile and good mood, something to drink and/or to eat to contribute to the buffet (we’re not selling any food nor any drinks).
We invite you as well to support the organisation through our « survival box » (donation box).
This season, we also announce 3 new organisers to help us in this amazing adventure: Sam and the MaMa’s. The DJs will be announced weekly, coming from Brussels or elsewhere.
This year, we offer you:
• 4 hours of tango music by numerous local and international DJs
• A friendly atmosphere in a beautiful space protected from our Belgian weather
• A buffet, partially prepared by ourselves, but completed by your contribution
• Maybe toilettes (we’re looking into this)
We would want to ask you to:
• Respect the basic navigation rules of a tango ronda
• Try to invite every week someone new to dance
Because of the World Cup and other events (capricious weather included) we would ask you to keep an eye on the Facebook event to verify whether the milonga is not cancelled or moved place.

PRATIQUE GUIDÉE HEBDOMADAIRE:
Nous essayons d'intégrer ici le concept de practica, inspiré par le MAESTRO Carlos Perez. Celui-ci organise une pratique guidée hebdomadaire : un lieu mythique à Buenos Aires, où les plus importants professionnels du tango sont passés et encore aujourd’hui passent pour apprendre le tango avec lui.
- En quoi consiste la pratique guidée et en quoi diffère-t-elle de la milonga?
La practica est un laboratoire de danse, un moment spécifiquement imaginé pour apprendre, s’entrainer et s’améliorer en dehors du cours, mais en dansant. Les 10 premières minutes sont consacrées aux techniques homme et femme, les 20 minutes suivantes à la technique de couple et les 40 minutes restantes sont réservées à la danse.
Quand on danse à une practica: chacun.e peut inviter quand et comme il ou elle le souhaite et les niveaux se mélangent. Les professeurs resteront disponibles pour toutes corrections, tous exercices ou entraînements spécifiques.

Semi-private tango coaching by Marisa & Oliver
WORKSHOP BRUSSELS
Coaching sessions
To respond to a specific need of more personalised feed-back, Marisa & Oliver launched the concept of tango coaching sessions: an original approach half-way between a private class and a group workshop, organised on weekends during the daytime or before our milongas. In these coachings, we work with a maximum of 6 couples to be able to give more personal corrections to each of them. Although we start by proposing a movement or concept to the group so that everybody can get started, the aim of the sessions is rather to coach the participants in their own tango. Like in a private class, we work on posture, connection, leading/following, technique refinement, etc. rather than teaching a complex figure. Participants can also propose a theme they would like to work. Coaching sessions are for all levels, a minimum of 6 months tango is required.
Price: 30€ pp (90 min.).
Because the number of places is limited, the reservation is required via info@tangueria.be.

Pour répondre à un besoin spécifique de feed-back plus personnalisé, Marisa & Oliver ont lancé le concept de sessions de coaching: une approche originale à mi-chemin entre un cours privé et un atelier de groupe, organisé le week-end pendant la journée ou avant nos milongas.
Dans ces coachings, nous travaillons avec un maximum de 6 couples afin d’être en mesure de donner des corrections personnelles à chacun. Bien que nous commençions par proposer un mouvement commun au groupe, le but de ces séances est plutôt d’encadrer les participants dans leur propre tango. Comme dans un cours privé, au lieu d’enseigner une figure complexe, nous travaillons sur la posture, la connexion, le guidage et l’écoute, la technique de raffinement, etc. Les participants peuvent également proposer un thème qu’ils aimeraient travailler. Les séances de coaching sont pour tous les niveaux, seul un minimum de six mois de tango est requis.

Coaching sessions
To respond to a specific need of more personalised feed-back, Marisa & Oliver launched the concept of tango coaching sessions: an original approach half-way between a private class and a group workshop, organised on weekends during the daytime or before our milongas. In these coachings, we work with a maximum of 6 couples to be able to give more personal corrections to each of them. Although we start by proposing a movement or concept to the group so that everybody can get started, the aim of the sessions is rather to coach the participants in their own tango. Like in a private class, we work on posture, connection, leading/following, technique refinement, etc. rather than teaching a complex figure. Participants can also propose a theme they would like to work. Coaching sessions are for all levels, a minimum of 6 months tango is required.
Price: 30€ pp (90 min.).
Because the number of places is limited, the reservation is required via info@tangueria.be.

Pour répondre à un besoin spécifique de feed-back plus personnalisé, Marisa & Oliver ont lancé le concept de sessions de coaching: une approche originale à mi-chemin entre un cours privé et un atelier de groupe, organisé le week-end pendant la journée ou avant nos milongas.
Dans ces coachings, nous travaillons avec un maximum de 6 couples afin d’être en mesure de donner des corrections personnelles à chacun. Bien que nous commençions par proposer un mouvement commun au groupe, le but de ces séances est plutôt d’encadrer les participants dans leur propre tango. Comme dans un cours privé, au lieu d’enseigner une figure complexe, nous travaillons sur la posture, la connexion, le guidage et l’écoute, la technique de raffinement, etc. Les participants peuvent également proposer un thème qu’ils aimeraient travailler. Les séances de coaching sont pour tous les niveaux, seul un minimum de six mois de tango est requis.
Prix: 30€ pp (90 min.). Le nombre de places étant limité, l’inscription est requise via info@tangueria.be.

SONICO has finished recording its first album,
entitled EDUARDO ROVIRA: LA OTRA VANGUARDIA!
This is the first album which exclusively features pieces written by the revolutionary “tango nuevo” composer Eduardo Rovira. This recording, in both trio and quartet form, includes 12 of Eduardo Rovira’s compositions and original arrangements, many of them unpublished.
Recording made at La Monnaie in Januari 2018.
Release date: Argentina August 2018 (CD) / Belgium March 2019 (Vinyl)
“This album is the first dedicated solely to Rovira’s compositions since his death. The music sounds fresh and vibrant, and allows the listener to appreciate the greatness of the tango of Rovira as well as the originality of his legacy – in which there are practically no traces of his colleague in tango renewal.
Rovira is no imitator of Piazzolla. He developed his own identity and it is only necessary to hear a few bars of his music in order to identify his beautiful and unique style. This album includes groundbreaking pieces as well as arrangements of classic tangos that together
constitute an excellent anthology of Eduardo Rovira’s approach to tango, of which there are many things to discover and say”.

LUCAS MALES is a musician, Tango DJ, dancer and teacher from Buenos Aires. Lucas Malec trained for over 20 years as a musician in the Conservatory of Buenos Aires and the Conservarorium van Amsterdam where he received his Master degree in Composition.

For the first time organized in Belgium, the Tango Battle will make you play, have fun and see tango in another context.
How does it work?
As a individual we arrange a team for you at the moment of the game. Or you can come as a group and form a team together. Each team will have six members. Three followers and three leaders.
The team will be a mix of different levels. IMPORTANT: the game is focused on beginners and absolute beginners but some of the games will be proposed to the intermediate level.
The points will be given by the public. The winner team will get a prize! 🙂
∇ Registration recommended to facilitate the organization of the battle. You can register for one person, as a couple or with a group.

For the first time organized in Belgium, the Tango Battle will make you play, have fun and see tango in another context.
How does it work?
As a individual we arrange a team for you at the moment of the game. Or you can come as a group and form a team together. Each team will have six members. Three followers and three leaders.
The team will be a mix of different levels. IMPORTANT: the game is focused on beginners and absolute beginners but some of the games will be proposed to the intermediate level.
The points will be given by the public. The winner team will get a prize! 🙂
∇ Registration recommended to facilitate the organization of the battle. You can register for one person, as a couple or with a group.
∇The bar will be open with special cocktails during the battle.

In September 2018 we start 2 series of 5 initiation classes for absolute beginners:
Monday in La Tangueria Simonis and
Thursday in La Tangueria Porte de Namur.
Tango is for everybody: singles and couples, young and old, managers and students: if you can walk, you can learn to dance tango. Tango is a healthy and creative way to keep your body and mind in shape... as such a valid and non-competititve alternative to sports and fitness. And you will meet lots of new friends to go out with!

No previous dancing experience is needed, nor any special outfit or shoes. Just come as you want and discover the magic of tango!
Singles who don't have a dancing partner yet can be put in touch with each-other to register together. Therefore, please send your profile (age, height, languages) to info@tangueria.be.
These trial classes are free, but REGISTRATION IS RECOMMENDED, as the number of places is limited and we try to guarantee the balace leaders/Followers. Please register only via info@tangueria.be (your presence on facebook is not a formal registration).
2 new series of 5 weekly INITIATION classes will be proposed by La Tangueria teachers in Molenbeek and Ixelles (@jogovivo.be) on 5 Mondays as of 17/9 (Simonis) from 19h30 till 20h40 and on 5 Thursdays as of 20/9 (Porte de Namur) from 20h45 till 21h55.
Prices: 60€ pp for 5 x 70 minutes (students: 50€).
Initiated beginners can choose classes on Thursday in La Tangueria XL or on Tuesday or Wednesday in La Tangueria Simonis.

La Tangueria teachers have been teaching the pure tango in Belgium since 1996. Our school is renown for the sound experience of its teachers, the pedagogical skills and the well-structured classes in more than 8 levels.
All the classes are taught by couples instead of by singles, so both leaders and followers students have a valuable model to refer to.
We don't limit the teaching to one style of tango only, but all styles and techniques are developed, so that each student can choose his or her own preference: salón, milonguero, fantasia, etc.

From the study of the ground connection and its possible approaches we will study different invitations of the cross from the point of view of the Leader and follower.
We will explore the echo of the Tano step and its many variations to expand our vocabulary of possibility in listening to music.

À partir de l’étude de la connexion au sol et de ses possibles approches nous étudierons différentes invitations du croisé du point du vue du Leader et du Follower.

PRACTICA BRUSSELS
PRATIQUE GUIDÉE HEBDOMADAIRE:
Nous essayons d'intégrer ici le concept de practica, inspiré par le MAESTRO Carlos Perez. Celui-ci organise une pratique guidée hebdomadaire : un lieu mythique à Buenos Aires, où les plus importants professionnels du tango sont passés et encore aujourd’hui passent pour apprendre le tango avec lui.
- En quoi consiste la pratique guidée et en quoi diffère-t-elle de la milonga?
La practica est un laboratoire de danse, un moment spécifiquement imaginé pour apprendre, s’entrainer et s’améliorer en dehors du cours, mais en dansant. Les 10 premières minutes sont consacrées aux techniques homme et femme, les 20 minutes suivantes à la technique de couple et les 40 minutes restantes sont réservées à la danse.
Quand on danse à une practica: chacun.e peut inviter quand et comme il ou elle le souhaite et les niveaux se mélangent. Les professeurs resteront disponibles pour toutes corrections, tous exercices ou entraînements spécifiques.

PRATIQUE GUIDÉE HEBDOMADAIRE:
Nous essayons d'intégrer ici le concept de practica, inspiré par le MAESTRO Carlos Perez. Celui-ci organise une pratique guidée hebdomadaire : un lieu mythique à Buenos Aires, où les plus importants professionnels du tango sont passés et encore aujourd’hui passent pour apprendre le tango avec lui.
- En quoi consiste la pratique guidée et en quoi diffère-t-elle de la milonga?
La practica est un laboratoire de danse, un moment spécifiquement imaginé pour apprendre, s’entrainer et s’améliorer en dehors du cours, mais en dansant. Les 10 premières minutes sont consacrées aux techniques homme et femme, les 20 minutes suivantes à la technique de couple et les 40 minutes restantes sont réservées à la danse.
Quand on danse à une practica: chacun.e peut inviter quand et comme il ou elle le souhaite et les niveaux se mélangent. Les professeurs resteront disponibles pour toutes corrections, tous exercices ou entraînements spécifiques.

Venez travailler les fondamentaux de tango, tels que la posture, la marche, les passages de poids, la dissociation, la coordination du mouvement. A partir d'exercices évolutifs, à faire seul(e) ou à deux, et d'un répertoire d'embellissements, venez éprouver, affiner votre tehnique, ou découvrir de nouveaux points de vue. Des structures simples et typiques nous permettront de nous axer aussi sur la communication avec l'autre et peaufiner l'élégance 🙂

A propos de MONICA PAZ:
Mónica est née et vit à Buenos Aires, en Argentine.
Sa vie et son expérience de la danse sont présents depuis sa naissance.
Son père était un Milonguero. Son voyage a commencé avec lui.
Depuis plus de 20 ans, Monica se dédie professionnellement à l'enseignement du tango argentin.
Quand, en 1996, elle décide d'apprendre
à danser le tango, elle prend touts les cours qu’elle peut, tous les jours et pendant 2 ans minimum.
Ensuite elle obtient son diplôme d'instructeur de danse et d'histoire du tango.
Progressivement l’enseignement de Monica
évolue très fortement.
Aujourd'hui elle enseigne exclusivement ce qu’elle a appris des vieux « Milongueros »: "Le tango est un sentiment".
Il lui a fallu de nombreuses années pour comprendre le vrai sens de ces mots pour ensuite les transmettre à ses élèves.

Nous travailleront les points suivants:
-Particularités de l'"Abrazo" Milonguero.
-Différents "abrazos" pour des styles différents.
-Les bases du tango.
-Comment préparer le corps .
-Utilisation de l'énergie pour un bon ancrage, une bonne « pisada » .

Éviter de faire des mouvements mécaniquement. Exprimer ce que vous avez à dire et répondre à travers la danse.

A propos de MONICA PAZ:
Mónica est née et vit à Buenos Aires, en Argentine.
Sa vie et son expérience de la danse sont présents depuis sa naissance.
Son père était un Milonguero. Son voyage a commencé avec lui.
Depuis plus de 20 ans, Monica se dédie professionnellement à l'enseignement du tango argentin.
Quand, en 1996, elle décide d'apprendre
à danser le tango, elle prend touts les cours qu’elle peut, tous les jours et pendant 2 ans minimum.
Ensuite elle obtient son diplôme d'instructeur de danse et d'histoire du tango.
Progressivement l’enseignement de Monica
évolue très fortement.
Aujourd'hui elle enseigne exclusivement ce qu’elle a appris des vieux « Milongueros »: "Le tango est un sentiment".
Il lui a fallu de nombreuses années pour comprendre le vrai sens de ces mots pour ensuite les transmettre à ses élèves.

Tango discovery for (absolute and initiated) beginners - La Tangueria
WORKSHOP BRUSSELS
=> in 2 classes, the teachers will introduce some basic elements of Argentinian tango. A nice and quick way to discover if you could be contaminated by the tango virus, too... After this workshop, participants can continue directly in the weekly classes on Monday or Tuesday, or register for another Discovery workshop.
Level: initiation, no tango experience required, or for those who already did some classes or want to review the basics.
NB. The content of each Discovery workshop will be different and can be followed separately.
Prices: Tango Discovery (2 x 90 minutes): 30 € pp for 3 hours of workshop. Students: 25 € pp.

To respond to a specific need of more personalised feed-back, Marisa & Oliver launched the concept of tango coaching sessions: an original approach half-way between a private class and a group workshop, organised on weekends during the daytime or before our milongas. In these coachings, we work with a maximum of 6 couples to be able to give more personal corrections to each of them. Although we start by proposing a movement or concept to the group so that everybody can get started, the aim of the sessions is rather to coach the participants in their own tango. Like in a private class, we work on posture, connection, leading/following, technique refinement, etc. rather than teaching a complex figure. Participants can also propose a theme they would like to work. Coaching sessions are for all levels, a minimum of 6 months tango is required.
Price: 30€ pp (90 min.).

Pour répondre à un besoin spécifique de feed-back plus personnalisé, Marisa & Oliver ont lancé le concept de sessions de coaching: une approche originale à mi-chemin entre un cours privé et un atelier de groupe, organisé le week-end pendant la journée ou avant nos milongas.
Dans ces coachings, nous travaillons avec un maximum de 6 couples afin d’être en mesure de donner des corrections personnelles à chacun. Bien que nous commençions par proposer un mouvement commun au groupe, le but de ces séances est plutôt d’encadrer les participants dans leur propre tango. Comme dans un cours privé, au lieu d’enseigner une figure complexe, nous travaillons sur la posture, la connexion, le guidage et l’écoute, la technique de raffinement, etc. Les participants peuvent également proposer un thème qu’ils aimeraient travailler.
