In deze cursus gaan we vooral aandacht geven aan de drie connecties, nl. de connectie tussen de dansers, de connectie tussen de dansers en de grond en de connectie tussen de dansers en de muziek.
Les per les zullen we ons concentreren op de ontwikkeling van een dansstijl die elegant, comfortabel en natuurlijk is. Deze drie elementen zijn niet alleen verweven, maar ook nodig om goed te kunnen dansen.
De figuren zullen maar een excuus zijn (en niet de focus) en ze zullen naar voor komen als een gevolg van alles waar we op werken: de drie intense connecties, elegantie en spontaneïteit.
We zullen blij zijn jullie te verwelkomen!

In this course, we will pay particular attention to three connections: the connection between the dancers, the one between the dancers and the ground, and the one between the dancers and the music.
Lesson by lesson, we will concentrate on developing a dance that is elegant, comfortable and natural. These are three inseparable elements that we need to dance well.
The figures will be just an excuse (not the focus), and will emerge as a consequence of everything we will be working on: the three intense connections, the elegance and the spontaneity.

One of the most typical features of Neotango is perhaps that we can color a bit more outside of the standard tango lines. But what if this option brings us more often into a superficial set of movements, instead of bringing us into the deep? What do we have as references, movements, codes and techniques to find a more intense, at the same time more playful expression or creation?

The neotango seminar aims to give you the technique and some steps, possibilities for doing just that: to physically convey even more story in the dance, more depth and more intensity. Doing so, we will easily find that more playful, contemporary, expressive and connected tango.
