The tango intrigues you, you have a passion for it, you would like to try it yourself: why not give it a try? Whether it’s a class or a dance class, if you enjoy a creative and social activity, it’s never too late to get started.
Tango is one of the few dances that is accessible to everyone indiscriminately. Don’t be afraid because every step is imaginable, just let the music and passion guide you. You will be guided by experienced and equally passionate teachers.

We teach simple, elegant, musical and playful ideas to be used on the social dance floor with floorcraft into consideration !

Our classes are appropriate for everyone from beginners to very advanced beginners. We try to give plenty of personal attention !

Deux stages progressifs à prendre séparément ou de manière consécutive.
Venez passer un moment entre filles pour peaufiner la technique des mouvements typiques du rôle traditionnel de la femme. Équilibre, marche et élégance, ochos et tours dans le niveau 1.
Boleos, planeos, banderas, et autres délices en plus des basiques, dans le niveau 2.
 
 
Fioritures à profusion bien évidemment dans les deux niveaux. 
Vous partirez avec plus de confiance en vous, des exercices pour continuer à s'entraîner chez soi et des pistes d'observation pour les cours et practicas.
Une pédagogie innovante, construite avec soin pour une acquisition progressive et sure des nouvelles compétences dans la danse. Bienveillance et humour toujours au rendez-vous, de manière que chacune puisse avancer avec plaisir et à son propre rythme !

L'année 2023 verra se tenir les commémorations des 50 ans du coup d'état au Chili. Dans ce contexte, César Guzman, artiste chilien émigré en Belgique, est rejoint à l'occasion de ce concert par deux violoncellistes : Guillermo Cerviño Wood et Alexandre Bughin. Guillermo est lui aussi chilien d'origine et belge d'adoption, quant à Alexandre, il a été l'élève du premier cité durant plusieurs années. Cette soirée placée sous le signe de la transmission, de l'amitié et du souvenir est à ne manquer sous aucun prétexte !

Programme : des chansons de César en espagnol et en français, mais aussi des hommages à Violeta Parra et Victor Jara, artistes chiliens engagés et emblématiques.

The female vocal quartet Floras Negras, formed by Cecilia Bonardi, Laura Esses, Alejandra Cañoni and Laura Hatton, presents its latest album ‘Maldito Tango’.

The quartet plays arrangements by Oscar Laiguera and Diego Vila, and is accompanied by Raúl Kiokio on guitar.

They re-create a repertoire which ranges from the most traditional songs and melodies to current urban music of tangos, waltzes, milongas and candombes,  intertwined by brushstrokes of texts, humor and scenic originality.

They play compositions by Ángel Villoldo, Astor Piazzolla, Discépolo, Manzi, Ferrer, Hugo Varela, and others: “Che, bandoneón”, “Libertango”, “Oro y Plata”, “Milonga de la Anunciación” and “Gota de lluvia” are some of them.

Since 1996 they began developing their show on several stages in Buenos Aires and the rest of Argentina, while also carrying their sound internationally to Uruguay, Portugal, Spain, the Netherlands and France.

Thus they arrive in the city of Brussels on their European tour, after performing at the Granada International Tango Festival, then in Sevilla and Paris. Their tour will end at the end of March in Berlin.

They proudly cherish the words of Horacio Ferrer about them: he defined Flores Negras as "one of the most refined groups of current tango".

Special Tango Coaching sessions by Marisa & Oliver
=> The Tango coaching session is an original La Tangueria concept half-way between a private class and a group workshop.
We work with a maximum of 6 couples to be able to give more personal feed-back and corrections to each of them. Although we can propose a movement for each level, the aim is more to "coach" the participants in their personal tango dance. Like in a private class, we will work on the posture, connection, leading, following, musicality, technique, refinement, etc. rather than teaching a new figure. Participants can of course also propose a theme or subject they would like to work.
Level: all levels interested in this coaching session, minimum 6 months tango required.

Séances spéciales de coaching de tango par Marisa et Oliver
=> Le Tango coaching est un concept original de La Tangueria, à mi-chemin entre un cours privé et un atelier de groupe.
Nous travaillons avec un maximum de 6 couples pour pouvoir donner plus de feedback personnel et corrections à chacun d'eux. Bien que nous proposons un mouvement comme point de départ pour tout le groupe, l'objectif est plus de "coacher" les participants dans leur danse de tango personnel. Comme dans un cours privé, nous travaillerons sur la posture, la connexion, le guidage, l'écoute, la musicalité, la technique, le raffinement, etc. plutôt que d'enseigner une nouvelle figure. Les participants peuvent bien sûr proposer un thème ou un sujet qu'ils aimeraient travailler.
Niveau: tous les niveaux intéressés par cette session de coaching, minimum 6 mois de tango requis.

=> De Tango coachings zijn een origineel concept van La Tangueria, halverwege tussen een privéles en een groepsworkshop.
Wij werken met maximaal 6 paren om meer persoonlijke feedback en correcties te kunnen geven aan elk van hen. Hoewel we een beweging voorstellen als uitgangspunt voor de hele groep, is het doel meer om de deelnemers te coachen in hun persoonlijke tango dans. Net als in een privé-les werken we aan houding, connectie, leiden en volgen, muzikaliteit, techniek, afwerking, enz. in plaats van een nieuwe figuur aan te leren. De deelnemers kunnen zelf een thema of onderwerp voorstellen waaraan zij zouden willen werken.
Niveau: alle niveaus geïnteresseerd in deze coaching sessie, minimum 6 maanden tango vereist.

- The Communication channel: a practical tool for mutual understanding.

- Disassociation: a mecchanism for uncompromized, balanced movement.

Connecting in a proper way is necessary to communicate with clarity. All else leaves room for anticipating & compensating behaviors that are resulting in doubtful and unclear dynamics.

Connaissez-vous le Choro?

Genre musical né à Rio de Janeiro dans les années 1870, le Choro transcende les frontières entre musique populaire et musique savante. Il trouve des origines métissées: africaines et européennes.

SOL CHORANDO est ce qu'on pourrait définir un quartet de choro "de chambre". Alors que les deux solistes (clarinette et flûte) entrelacent mélodies et contrechants, la guitare enrichit son accompagnement de lignes de basses contrapontiques, pendant que ukulélé ténor (en guise de cavaquinho) confère à l’ensemble une sonorité douce et feutrée.
Entre sambas enjouées, valses tristes, et autres rythmes métissés, le groupe vous propose une sélection des plus beaux choros, quelques compositions propres et se penche également sur le répertoire des serestas (chansons lentes ou valses de type sérénade), interprétées au chant par le guitariste.

The Brussels Tango Festival is one of the largest tango festivals in Europe, and it will takes place in April (6>10 /04) . It features a enlarged weekend from Thursday till Monday of workshops, milongas, and performances by some of the best tango dancers from around the world.
