In July and August 2024, La Tangueria teacher Gaetan (with alternating partners) will give a series of 5×2 workshops for dancers who want to deepen their knowledge in tango, vals, milonga and neotango.
At the end of August, Gaetan and Flavia will also give an intensive workshop Tango escenario for advanced dancers
For (re)beginners and for those who want to take a trial lesson, there will be 3 initiation workshops.

Programme summer 2024
There will be 5 workshops on Wednesdays to dive  deeper into different facets of tango itself, followed by 5 workshops of neotango, vals and milonga, to further develop other dance skills and musicalities as well. To boost your tango, we recommend taking the series, but each class can also be taken separately.
For absolute beginners and those who want to review the basics, 3 discovery workshops are offered on Wednesdays, which can be taken separately or together.
For advanced dancers who want an extra challenge, we offer a one-off intensive tango escenario workshop on Tuesday 27/8. Work will be done on lifts, poses, complex and flashy figures for performances. Advanced dancers from other disciplines (salsa, bachata, contemporary…) can also participate in this workshop.

Elle a acquis une renommée internationale, y compris le titre de 🏆 Championne du Monde de Tango de Scène en 2017.

Un caprice, une lubie, un désir soudain tout à fait irrationnel? Sans doute un petit luxe. J'avais tellement envie d'inviter un nouveau couple au Vaux Hall !!!! To boost your tango, we recommend taking the series, but each class can also be taken separately.

For advanced dancers who want an extra challenge, we offer a one-off intensive tango escenario workshop on Tuesday 27/8. Work will be done on lifts, poses, complex and flashy figures for performances. Advanced dancers from other disciplines (salsa, bachata, contemporary…) can also participate in this workshop.

If the weather allows, we shall dance outside on a very good floorcraft. In case of rain or chilly temparature, there is a beautiful venue inside too with a perfect parquet floor.

Si le temps le permet, nous dansons dehors sur un sol impeccable. En cas de pluie ou la temperature qui chute, il est également possible de danser à l'interieur dans une belle salle avec parquet.

Chers et Chères,
Dis donc, ce dimanche 21 juillet est un grand jour pour nous tous et toutes.
"Non peut être" ! Et quoi de plus Belge que fêter le jour national en dansant le Tango, en buvant de bonnes bières et en mangeant des frites ? Et bien, il y a plus Belge.
On peut faire cela tout en assistant à un concert dansant donné par un orchestre de Tango-Argentin purement flamand, à Laeken.
À Laeken, oui. On y trouve le Château de Laeken et l'Atomium... Quoi de plus symbolique ? On y trouve aussi BE-Here un marché Bio extrêmement beau qui soutient l'alimentation durable, l'économie circulaire, l'économie sociale, la culture et le bien-être. Toutes des valeurs qui nous représentent.
Ceci dit, ce n'est pas tout dans la "belgitude" de cet évènement festif. Il y aura aussi deux danseurs bien Belges l'un d'origine uruguayen et l'autre d'origine argentine pour une petite démo et une initiation ouverte à "toustes".
Faudra bien sûr pour y assister s'échapper en "stoemeling" des feux d'artifice, les chaussures de danse en poche. Sachant que chez nous, à la différence des feux d'artifice, ce sera festif quoiqu'il arrive même s'il "drache".
De toute manière, vous n'avez pas d'excuse. Pas besoin de "faire la queue "ce dimanche. Nous espérons que vous "saurez" venir.
Allez, ne prenez rien "avec" tout est sur place.

"Tzigan" (Gypsy Tango Trio) formerly Zingaros, is an Argentinian trio with violin, accordion, guitar and vocals, who blends eastern gypsy music with tango and jazz.

Their concerts are distinguished by a great musicality and virtuosity, making an exciting performance.

They were touring in Europe from 2009 to 2023, performing in different venues among others:

Salzburger Festspiele (Austria), Tolwood Festival (Germany), Fusion Festival (Germany), Romane Dyvesa (Poland), Schlossnacht Dresde (Germany), Donauinselfest (Austria), Breminale Festival (Germany), Festival Internacional de tango (Argentina), Vamos Festival (UK), Gyspy Festival Slovakia (Slovakia), Vincoli Sonori Festival (Italy), Birmingham Jazz Festival (UK) etc etc.

In January 2010 their CD "Cirkari" was released in 65 countries by ARC music label in the UK (www.arcmusic.co.uk).

Also some songs were included in compilations of ARC’s  35th anniversary.

In 2013 a new CD "Gitango" was released in UK by the same label.

The band was nominated for Best Group and Newcomer for the Songlines Music Awards 2014.

Oscar Busso est originaire d'Argentine.   Il a appris et enseigné le magnifique Tango Argentin à Buenos Aires. Il enseigne également en Europe depuis 2001.   Son style de danse se caractérise par une précision unique et une sensibilité incomparable dans son étreinte. 
 Il vient souvent comme professeur résident à "Tango Querido" aux côtés de notre chère Tina Riccard. Exceptionnellement, il sera notre professeur invité et jouera de la musique à la Milonga Factory en juillet.

Oscar Busso komt uit Argentinië.   Hij leerde en onderwees de prachtige Argentijnse Tango in Buenos Aires. Sinds 2001 geeft hij ook les in Europa.   Zijn dansstijl wordt gekenmerkt door een unieke precisie en een ongeëvenaarde gevoeligheid in zijn omhelzing. 
 Hij komt vaak als vaste leraar bij "Tango Querido" naast onze lieve Tina Riccard. Bij uitzondering zal hij onze gastleraar zijn en muziek spelen bij de Milonga Factory in juli.

Our groups of tango dancers will be hosted in one of the luxurious Zacchera hotels. All hotels are in privileged positions on the shores of Lake Maggiore and the magnificent Gulf of Borromeo. It is very likely that we will be staying again in the Grand Hotel Dino in Baveno.

Venez découvrir, explorer et approfondir le tango. Vous apprendrez progressivement les mouvements, les secrets de la communication et la musicalité qui font le tango argentin traditionnel. Un moment de communauté où les corps s’expriment et se relient au sol, à la musique, au corps de l’autre et à l’entourage des autres couples. Nous sommes des danseurs et des professeurs argentins. Vous n’avez pas besoin de venir en couple. Nous vous attendons.

Chaque cours coûte 15 euro/pers.

La carte de 10 cours coûte 120 euro/pers. Pour que ton tango coule.  

Vení a descubrir, explorar y profundizar el tango. Vas a aprender de forma progresiva los movimientos, los secretos de comunicación y la musicalidad que hacen el tango argentino tradicional. Un momento de comunidad donde los cuerpos se expresan y se relacionan con el piso, la música, el cuerpo del otro y el entorno de las otras parejas. Somos bailarines y profesores argentinos. No hace falta venir en pareja. Los esperamos.

Cada clase está a 15 euro/pers.

Come to discover, explore and deepen the tango. You will progressively learn the movements, the secrets of communication and the musicality that make the traditional Argentine tango. A moment of community where the bodies express themselves and relate to the floor, the music, each other’s body and the other couples. We are Argentinean dancers and teachers. You don’t need to come as a couple. We will be waiting for you.

The price per lesson is 15 euro/pers.

Pour booster votre tango, nous vous recommandons de suivre la série, mais chaque cours peut également être pris séparément.
Pour les débutants et ceux qui veulent revoir les bases, 3 ateliers découverte sont proposés le mercredi, qui peuvent être pris séparément ou ensemble.
Pour les danseurs avancés qui souhaitent relever un défi supplémentaire, nous proposons un atelier intensif unique de tango escenario le mardi 27/8. Le travail se fera sur les portés, les poses, les figures complexes et flashy pour les démonstrations. Les danseurs avancés d’autres disciplines (salsa, bachata, contemporain…) peuvent également participer à cet atelier.

Our groups of tango dancers will be hosted in one of the luxurious Zacchera hotels. All hotels are in privileged positions on the shores of Lake Maggiore and the magnificent Gulf of Borromeo. It is very likely that we will be staying again in the Grand Hotel Dino in Baveno.

If the weather allows, we shall dance outside on a very good floorcraft. In case of rain or chilly temparature, there is a beautiful venue inside too with a perfect parquet floor.

Si le temps le permet, nous dansons dehors sur un sol impeccable. En cas de pluie ou la temperature qui chute, il est également possible de danser à l'interieur dans une belle salle avec parquet.

Venez découvrir, explorer et approfondir le tango. Vous apprendrez progressivement les mouvements, les secrets de la communication et la musicalité qui font le tango argentin traditionnel. Un moment de communauté où les corps s’expriment et se relient au sol, à la musique, au corps de l’autre et à l’entourage des autres couples. Nous sommes des danseurs et des professeurs argentins. Vous n’avez pas besoin de venir en couple. Nous vous attendons.

Chaque cours coûte 15 euro/pers.

La carte de 10 cours coûte 120 euro/pers. Pour que ton tango coule.  

Vení a descubrir, explorar y profundizar el tango. Vas a aprender de forma progresiva los movimientos, los secretos de comunicación y la musicalidad que hacen el tango argentino tradicional. Un momento de comunidad donde los cuerpos se expresan y se relacionan con el piso, la música, el cuerpo del otro y el entorno de las otras parejas. Somos bailarines y profesores argentinos. No hace falta venir en pareja. Los esperamos.

Come to discover, explore and deepen the tango. You will progressively learn the movements, the secrets of communication and the musicality that make the traditional Argentine tango. A moment of community where the bodies express themselves and relate to the floor, the music, each other’s body and the other couples. We are Argentinean dancers and teachers. You don’t need to come as a couple. We will be waiting for you.
