Tango is one of the few dances that is accessible to everyone indiscriminately. Don’t be afraid because every step is imaginable, just let the music and passion guide you. You will be guided by experienced and equally passionate teachers.

We teach simple, elegant, musical and playful ideas to be used on the social dance floor with floorcraft into consideration !

Our classes are appropriate for everyone from beginners to very advanced beginners. We try to give plenty of personal attention !

In July and August 2023, La Tangueria teacher Gaetan with different partners will give a series of 5x2 classes/workshops on Wednesday for all the tango dancers who would like to deepen some fundamentals in tango, vals, milonga and neotango.
For complete beginners there will be a free trial class on 12/7 and 23/8 at 18h, reservation required.

Special "individual technique" workshop

Two consecutive workshops during which we will work on the technique of different movements, walking, pivoting, posture, enrosques, etc.

The classes will be divided between a physical warm-up to propose a series of movements that will improve our physical capacities and our perception of the axis, slow work and technical details of the movements, then intensive and dynamic repetition of the movements to anchor them in our bodies. 

Be sure to be surprised by the exercises on offer.

The programme includes the development of body awareness and dynamic practice.

NEW SEASON starts MONDAY 9 of January

The tango intrigues you, you have a passion for it, you would like to try it yourself: why not give it a try? Whether it’s a class or a dance class, if you enjoy a creative and social activity, it’s never too late to get started.
Tango is one of the few dances that is accessible to everyone indiscriminately. Don’t be afraid because every step is imaginable, just let the music and passion guide you. You will be guided by experienced and equally passionate teachers.

We teach simple, elegant, musical and playful ideas to be used on the social dance floor with floorcraft into consideration !

Our classes are appropriate for everyone from beginners to very advanced beginners. We try to give plenty of personal attention !

Tango is danced by three people: yourself, your partner and the music!

During this workshop, we will develop our musical listening skills in order to take advantage of the nuances and opportunities for play that counter-beats provide.

Musicality, connection, control of energy and movement and grounding will be on the agenda. We'll work together to enjoy the pleasure of a joyful tango full of nuances.

Work, challenges and fun are on the agenda!

Join us this Friday, and we'll share our love of tango with passion.

The workshop is followed by the traditional Friday milonga.

Special "individual technique" workshop

Two consecutive workshops during which we will work on the technique of different movements, walking, pivoting, posture, enrosques, etc.

The classes will be divided between a physical warm-up to propose a series of movements that will improve our physical capacities and our perception of the axis, slow work and technical details of the movements, then intensive and dynamic repetition of the movements to anchor them in our bodies. 

Be sure to be surprised by the exercises on offer.

The programme includes the development of body awareness and dynamic practice.

In July and August 2023, La Tangueria teacher Gaetan will give 5 classes/workshops on Wednesday for the levels for all the tango dancers who would like to deepen some fundamentals.
DATES: Wednesday 12/7, 26/7, 9/8, 23/8, 30/8, from 19h00-20h30
PRICES: 20€ per class (90 minutes) per person, or 80€ pp for all 5 classes (4+1 free).

> 26/7: Caminata technique and variations: from parallel to crossed system, changing sides, sacada vs. followers' crossing

€12 for a separate lesson
€110 for 10 lessons (membership card*) valid for 3 months, with a €5 discount on your next pass purchase (must be prior to the expiration of your current pass).
Advanced (1.15 hours):

€15 for a separate lesson
€125 for 10 lessons (membership card*) valid for 3 months, with a €5 discount on your next pass purchase (must be prior to the expiration of your current pass).

The entrance fee for the milonga is €5, and it runs from 20:30 until 23:55.

***For students attending the classes, the contribution for the milonga is voluntary. We suggest a contribution of €2.50, which can be placed in the little box provided after the classes.***
