Olga Dietrich

After the class, the evening continues with Milonga La Plata (20.30 h), where one of our favourite TDJs will create the perfect atmosphere with an inspiring selection of traditional tangos, valses and, of course, irresistible milongas.

Whether you’re staying in Brussels, just passing through, or looking for a place to dance during the holidays, you’ll always find a warm embrace on our dance floor.

Every Monday, milonga at Milonga La Plata, Rue de Dublin 13, 1050 Brussels — dancing from 20:30 to midnight with a different Tango DJ each week. Full October line-up on the poster.

Individual Tango Technique

Posture. Elegance. Flow. Control.

What to expect

For both roles: all the technique we have in common — much more than you think.
Focus on you: specific elements for the follower and leader roles.

You’ve been dancing tango for a while but feel a bit stuck?
It’s time to focus on yourself first — and that’s what this course is about.

You’ll understand and incorporate both basic and advanced technique.
We’ll take the time to practise, so it all emerges naturally when you dance with a partner.

It will look different. And it will feel different.

5-lesson course

Tuesdays at 18:30 · Etterbeek
Next course starts Tuesday, 8 September
Small group — 4 people max.
Classes in ES, EN, FR & NL

Join me for individual tango technique class in Brussels!

To dance with pleasure and fully interact with your partner, you need perfect balance, self-confidence, understanding of how to make each step or turn, and a touch of musicality.

In technique classes, we work individually without relying on partners, a barre, or anything else, to gradually develop all these complex skills.

We'll go through the fundamental principles - posture, grounding, balance, and play with ochos. We'll get to know each other and the class format.

Want to achieve fast results? Dance independently for an hour a day. In our classes, you can get a set of exercises for each new week. Vamos a bailar!

MÉTA-MILONGA

« Viens donc, on va danser. »
Alors on vient.
Alors on danse.

The COLOMBO KOCIOLEK FRONTINI TANGO TRIO was founded by three musicians from the current Parisian scene, Fabrizio Colombo on bandoneon, Émilie Aridon-Kociołek on piano, and Lucas Frontini on double bass, who were brought together by their fascination with the sound of the iconic trios of Argentine tango history. Following in the footsteps of the Vanguatrio in particular, a group from Buenos Aires in the 1970s, the repertoire imagined and arranged here by Fabrizio Colombo offers a rich palette of nuances, combining a strong tango identity with forays into jazz and an exceptional display of virtuosity.

This is an opportunity for these three musicians to combine their sounds and energies in the magic of the trio sound and to make their mark on the rich and exciting landscape of contemporary instrumental tango.

Bandonéon, arrangements et compositions : Fabrizio Colombo

MÉTA-MILONGA

« Viens donc, on va danser. »
Alors on vient.
Alors on danse.
